I left Vancouver with 2″ of fresh snow to a gorgeous day on the Deschutes, with not a person in sight.
No snakes this time of year
On the way, stopped at the Gorge Fly Shop, for some supplies. Those people are really awesome. Its no wonder why they carry my favorite flies.
Handful of the good stuff
A heavy tool fly, and a Jimmy Legs Black was the ticket. under a bobber, er, I mean Sindicator. That is all that was needed. Fun, feisty fish.
