Meant to have a blog post up and ready for all you Monday morning readers. Fact is I have been having constant knee pain for the last 5 months. In December my Dr. went in with a scope and cleaned up a tear in the meniscus. I felt like a million bucks after that. Chucker hills, slippery rivers, snow boarding here I come. Reality is there is a considerable amount of arthritis in the joint as well. Not a lot that can be done for that.
Short of it is the pain came back. My Dr. suggested doing a series of 5 lubricating shots. For me this translates to every Monday for 5 consecutive weeks I see my Dr. and pass out!

No its not. But I could have used the artist to hold my hand during the procedure.

Wife had these shots, said it felt like a hot knife. I saw her birth 2 kids w/no drugs, no drama/crying/whimpering-nada! So I know when she says something hurts, it does. She’s a Viking!

I got this shot off before I started hyperventilating. Once he pulled the needle out it was touch n go on whether I would pass out or not. Can’t wait for next Monday, shot #2 our of 5.
