Middle Fork of John Day Restoration Project

By:

A good friend of The Jewelers, Scott, works for the confederated tribes as a biologist.  He ran this project to restore part of the middle fork of the John Day.  Its cool to see how much wood is put back into the river to bring it back.

I love it. The footage of those springers sitting under the log jam gives me shivers.

As a supervisor I take the good and bad press for all our projects. Usually it is all good!!
I will offer one correction to your readers; props need to be given to our staff in the MFJD Brian and Steph as well. We all labored over this work with larger phases of restoration to come. Thanks for giving us the space. The MFJD is a pretty special place

PS Zach what about all those pics I recently sent the jeweler of my recent AK trip sporting my Idylwilde swag. Surely there was a decent one. I guess you need a colorful story to go with them.

Jeweler has yet to send me the pics. Stories are always nice to go along with the pics.
