Northwest Fly Tyer & Fly Fishing Expo

By:

This is your friendly reminder that some of Idylwilde’s own will be among the many in attendance and the 22nd annual Oregon Council, FFF Northwest Fly Tyer & Fly Fishing Expo.  Participating tiers will showcase a variety of fly patterns from complex full dress Atlantic Salmon flies to quick, easy, and effective fishing flies.

Chris REALLY enjoys tying flies!

Chris Conaty (Idylwilde’s Director of Product Development) will be tying on Saturday March 13th, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

Brian Silvey (Idylwilde Signature Tyer) will be tying on Saturday, March 13th, from 11:15 am to 5:30 pm.  Double Tube Technology anyone?

Marlon Rampy (Idylwilde Field Tester) will be tying on Friday, March 12th, from 1:45 to 5:00 pm and again on Saturday, March 13th, from 8:00 to 11:00 am.

Please stop by, learn something, and thank the tiers for their time.

Brian O’Keefe will be be in attendance too, he just returned from Chile so be sure to ask him about the flies he used while down there.

  4. Brian Silvey says:

Its a fly tying event not a tractor pulling event

  5. KP says:

Ask O’Keefe on how to go fishing all over the world with no more than 5 wallet flinches a year. And pulling it out only once. Legendary!
